  - Approved in China, but a fee payment remains to obtain certificate
  - Need to decide whether to give up the patent

New items:

Mike: Should the IOMeth patent be declared in all IBIS meetings?
- Lance: It is an implementation patent, should not apply
  - The patent is co-owned
- Bob: Another question is whether trademarks matter here

Mike showed the Jan 2008 summit presentation by Lance:
- Lance: The patent is not about the algorithms shown here
  - It is about a specific implementation
  - Slide 9 shows an implementation close to the patent
  - It is closer to a copyright

Mike showed a presentation to be given by Lance in Asia:
- This has an overview of different correlation proposals
- Bob discussed the Huawei method shown on slide 10
  - They have several FOMs
  - They have an internal tool
